Update Post

Apparently, I had thought so much about the posts I wanted to blog about, that I somehow convinced my brain that I had already done it. And so, I'll mish mash the last few weeks together into one big update post.

Here's Ry enjoying our new yard with the world's biggest worm and his own little family of snails he's collected.






We shaved Ry's head because after the last two times dragging him into Supercuts and Great Clips and experiencing what can only be known as hell on earth.



I think he looks a lot more mischievous now.

Baby J FINALLY learned to roll over at 5 months...

As for me, I finally started to get the hang of knitting. I'm still waiting for my supplies to come in so I can start dyeing more yarn and my website is in process. My grandmother died a few weeks back, which is of course sad but was a long time coming. I was able to visit her in the hospital a week before her death and she saw Baby J for the very first time. Her memorial service was last Friday, the first time I've ever seen a military ceremony and it was absolutely breathtaking and beautiful and respectful and awesome.

Also, my friend Jessica, who I have known for years via internet and phone, decided to surprise me and show up here with her three lovely children and we spent a fabulous evening BBQ'ing and talking and watching the kids play. Jessica's baby, Liam, is having surgery this week to repair his cleft lip. GO TEAM LIAM!!!

Last but not least, The Husband and I have just returned from a week long vacation in Florida, which was AWESOME, but deserves a post of its own. I'll be back shortly. :)
